"I stopped into Brian Bartko Agency for some information about my auto policy with State Farm. I was met by the two most incredible personnel at the front desk-Sayde Miller and Jill Clark. However, Sayde Miller took control for solving my insurance problem/needs. She is an amazing young lady to work with. She ensured that my policy was organized, called headquarters to retrieve my policy information, and printed my cards to store in my wallet and vehicle. "I don’t even know where to begin I’m very frustrated with the way this agent reeled me in. For starters it started off as a stress free experience and then turned into a nightmare quickly. I was quoted a very low rate and I knew it didn’t sound right so I asked all the questions necessary before investing after payment maybe a week or so later I was contacted by underwriting stating that I did not qualify for the initial policy that I was given and my payment monthly would be double what I was quoted. Okay no problem at all it was still affordable however, what put the icing on the cake was I went to contact the agent that signed me up and to no avail he was out golfing and could not assist no problem so I spoke with underwriting Jill and she made me aware of the change and I was okay with it. Fast forward to time to make payment for my policy I was then told that it didn’t have a payment due and after 45 minutes of being on the phone with the rep I was told my policy was cancelled due to nonpayment!!!! I was so confused and distressed at this point. Truly taken aback by the lack of communication and effort that was given to me as I explained I would be the one facing consequences for not having a active policy. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed that I was handled in the manner as if I didn’t matter as a valued customer. I will not recommend this service to anyone that I know. Please do better State Farm.Brian A. Was the agent I signed on with."

"Hey Karena. I want to first apologize for your frustration and perception of lack of communication. We definitely do not do a bait and switch. We process the information given and once underwriting reviewed the information unfortunately not all eligibility requirements were met. We at the local office is not told exactly what all that entails. I also apologize for the misunderstanding that “he was out golfing.” Brian and I were at a customer event (which happen to be a golf tournament) but were not playing. Our office supports various organizations in our community. You can see pictures of such events on our Facebook page. The hold times you were experiencing were at our call center, not the local office. I agree being on the phone 45 minutes is a long time. You matter to us, which is a reason we send personalized handwritten thank you cards to all our new customers. I apologize we failed you and wish you the best in the future. "
